Dear Friends,
In the best interest of our membership, and after deliberating with the Niagara Clown Alley concerning worldwide health concerns, your Clowns of America International Board of Directors is rescheduling the 2020 COAI Convention for April 6–11, 2021 in Niagara Falls, New York. Our 2020 convention hosts have been diligently working with the hotel and convention center and the following information is now provided for 2021:
- Upon this official announcement, the hotel will cancel all room reservations. Please give the hotel approximately one week to accomplish this.
- Rooms for 2021 will need to be re-booked. The hotel will honor the same rate as 2020. The room block remains the same as 2020.
- All current convention registrations will carry forward to the rescheduled date. If you’re not able to attend, you may transfer your registration to a friend or other member who has not registered yet. Going forward, registration costs will remain at the current rate of $240 for any future registrations.
- All current 2020 COAI scholarships will be honored at the 2021 convention, and all 2020 Award winners will be honored at the 2021 convention as well.
- The hotel has enhanced the contract for our 2021 hosts. More details to follow later.
