Let’s begin the process of helping our children learn more about the Art of Clowning.
We are part of a wonderful community of people who strive for excellence in the Art of Clowning and we are so excited that you are interested in being a part of our clown family too!
Becoming a member of COAI will help you get connected with educational materials and mentors who can help guide you in the process of learning more about clowning. You will receive a bi-monthly magazine called “The New Calliope” full of articles, pictures, ideas, as well as advertisements for different dealers, camps and convention opportunities. We also have occasional workshops online using a program called Zoom. Zoom meetings are a way to get visual interactive education online right in your own home. Be sure that you connect with Regina Wollrabe so that she has your email address where she can send you a link to a meeting.
We are here to help you learn the basics of clowning and see you become another person on this earth that helps bring happiness to the world you live in. Below are a few ways that you can access mentors and education. We believe that children learn life skills, grown in confidence and learn how to treat people kindly as they learn about the ethics of clowning and how to work with people. Different skills taught in clowning can be stress reducing, focus strengthening and create neurological pathways that strengthen a child’s brain development. We hope you and your child will enjoy the process of growing in this funny art form we call Clowning.
Private Facebook Group: “COAI Junior Joeys” is for members only ~ To join our Facebook community parents or guardians of the children must contact Regina Wollrabe personally with a COAI member number for the child. She will then get the parent/guardian signed into the group so that photos can be shared and questions may be asked to mentors who are in the group. YouTube Station: “COAI Jr. Joeys” is in the process of growing. Until completed you can find a few videos that match the New Pin Criteria pages that are being published in “The New Calliope” magazine. Please subscribe to this channel so that you can receive an email that alerts you when a new video has been uploaded.
Public Facebook Page: “COAI Jr. Joeys” a place where people can learn about our Junior Program without being members. This page is one that our COAI members can share with families who have kids interested in clowning or with Junior Joey Leaders.
Regina is interested in connecting other Junior Joeys leaders together on Zoom meetings. Please contact her if you have interest in being a part of one of these type of meetings online.
